The petition of Edward Edwards, Carnarvonshire, 1 May 1652

To the Right woor[shipful]l the Justices of the peace of the Countie of Carnarvon.
The humble peticon of Edward Edwards.
In all humble maner sheweth vnto your worshipps that the peticoner haueing spent his tyme and blood in the service of the states of England humbly craues your woorshipps that a may [sic.] bee admitted to haue the allowance of a maymed soldiers Mize in this your Countie of Carnarvon where his resident is att present haueing a chardge off a wieff and three small Children to mainetaine being of late vnder the Comaund of Collonel Thomas Masson, Late Gouernor of this Towne of Carnarvon a soldier and being by an order from aboueforth disbanded with the rest of the Company desired your woorshippe to consider of him as in your wisdom shall thinke Fit.
And your peticoner will euer pray &c.
The first day of May 1652.
The peticoner is admitted to Come in this Easter quarter sessions & to be allowed v li. a yeare for his [illegible] pencon
