The humble petic[i]on of Edmund Wynne

Humblie sheweing to your worships that your petitioner hath for many yeares together serued his late Ma[jes]tie Charles the first of blessed memorie in the late vnhappy warrs vnder the Com[m]and of Col[one]l William Wynne and afterwards vnder the com[m]and of Col[one]l Hugh Wynne and in the sayd service did receaue seuerall wounds wherby he is become a fitt obiect of your charitable consideracon being not able to earne his living by reason of his wounds afores[ai]d.

May it please your worships therefore to admitt your petitioner to be one of the mayhemed souldiers of this Countie and to allow him such a p[ro]portion of the mayhemed souldiers mize as your worships shall thinke fitt and yo[u]r peticoner shall ever pray &c
