For the Justices of Peace at their Quarter Sessions at Ormskirke. the humble of Petic[i]on of Easther Harrison widow late wyfe of John Harrison of Ormskirke dec[ease]d
Sheweth
That yo[u]r Petic[i]on[e]rs late husband haueing for many yeares serued his Ma[jes]tie & his late Father in the warrs, And being therin maimed and made very impotent, Was relieued by order from the Quarter Sessions and was allowed the sume of xx s. p[er] ann[um] during his lyfe, for & towards his reliefe, who dyed about halfe a yeare agoe, & left your petic[i]oner in a very miserable desolate condic[i]on, being almost Eighty yeares of age, & nothing wheron to subsist [illegible], In tender Considerac[i]on wherof may it please yo[u]r good Worships to grant vnto your sayd Petic[i]oner an order that the sayd xx s. p[er] ann[um] may be continued to yo[u]r s[ai]d petic[i]oner towards the keeping of her alyve, whylest her lyfe lasteth, which is not lyke to be long, she being very aged & important and yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r as in duety bound shall euer pray
