The humbell petishon of Doryty paull of the Citti of Cantterberry whiddow Too the write [sic.] whorshipfull Ma[ste]r Mayor and too the whorshipfull Cort of Aldermen with the Common Cownsell Assembeled in burmoth humbly sheweth that my husband beeing A sowlgar in the serues of his Hines the lord protektar whas Cummanded too goo too mardik vndar mayjor Genarall morgan and ther in that sarues hee is did whear by I am vnabell too help my self with my yong Child I beeing willing too whork too mayntayen my self and my Child if your whorship whoold bee but plesed too help mee too A wheel And sum small parsell of wholl in my distress I shall Euar Remayen thankfull too your whorsps [sic.]
