To the Right Wor[shipfu]ll his Ma[jes]ties Justices of the peace for the Countey of Devon
The humble Petition of Dennis Tamlyn of Maristowe in the said Countey
Humbly Sheweth that yo[u]r poore petion[e]r beeing a Souldier vnder the Comand of Capt[ain] Pollexfen in S[i]r Thomas Heles Regim[en]t did before Plym[outh] in the late Warres receiue seuerall Woundes in his late Ma[jes]ties seruice, All which yo[u]r poore petion[e]r hath heeretofore fully p[ro]ued in open sessions wherevpon A pention of three poundes p[er] Ann[um] hath hitherto bin paid and allowed yo[u]r poore petion[e]r out of the Countey Stocke; Now yo[u]r poore petion[e]r beeing become very weake and aged doth most Humbly beseech this Hon[oura]ble Bench to Consider his age weakenesse and pouerty and to enlarge his pention
And yo[u]r petion[e]r shall (as in duty bound) euer pray for yo[u]r Wor[shi]pps &c
