The petition of Debora Cawdry, Anne Blackborne, Joane Bretridge, Jane Kelly and Elizabeth Trotter, residence unknown, 10 December 1645

To the hono[ura]ble the Committee for Petic[i]ons where Mr Goodwyne hath the Chaire:
The humble petic[i]on of Debora Cawdry, Anne Blackborne widowes. & Joane Bretridge widdowes. Jane Kelly & Elizabeth Trotter widdowes
Sheweth
That yo[u]r pet[itione]rs miseryes and extreame pou[er]tyes dayly increasing humbly besought the hono[ura]ble House of Com[m]ons for paym[en]t of p[ar]te of theire Arreares towards the releife of them and theire poore fatherlesse Children who were pleased to order the same to be referred to this hono[ura]ble Comittee;
Yo[u]r pet[itione]rs most humbly pray; That this hono[ura]ble Com[m]ittee would be pleased to order theire Accompts may be forthw[i]th stated and certified to this Com[m]ittee, and that they may be agayne enlisted for pay.
And they shall daily pray &c
10th Decemb[er] 1645.
Itt is ordered by this Com[m]ittee that theis p[er]sons menc[i]o[n]ed in this Petic[i]on bee added to the rest of the List of the officers Wifes Wives & the Com[m]itee of Accompts for the Kingdome are desired to examine their demaunds & Certefy the same to this Com[mit]tee.
