The humble petic[i]on of Dauid Lloyd of llysvaen in the Countie of Carnarv[on].

The humble.

Humblie sheweing to your worships that yo[u]r petitioner hath for many yeares together served his late Ma[jes]tie in the late vnhappy warrs vnder the com[m]and of S[i]r John Owen and in that service did receaue many greivous wounds and imprisonm[en]ts to the indangering of his life and vtter disabling of him to helpe him be helpefull to himselfe in the way of liveing.

In tender consideracon whereof may it please yo[u]r worships to admitt yo[u]r petitioner to be one of the mayhemed souldier [sic.] of this Countie and to allow him such a p[ro]portion of the mayhemed souldiers his mize as you shall thinke fitt and yo[u]r petitioner shall ever pray &c.
