The petition of David Lewis of Denbigh, Denbighshire 31 March 1668

To the right Wo[rshipfu]ll his Ma[jes]t[y]s Justices of the Peace for the County of Denbigh.

The humble pettic[i]on of Dauid Lewis.

Sheweth

that yo[u]r Wo[rshi]pps were pleased to adde vnto yo[u]r pettic[i]on[e]rs porc[i]on of the maimed souldiers mize the sum of 3 li. p[er] ann[um] formerly belonginge vnto Liften[an]t Evance of Denbigh and serj[ean]t Edwards of Wrexham both deceased, the which yo[u]r pettic[i]on[e]r rec[eiv]ed not, nor any parte therof this two yeares and a halfe now past

Wherfore may it please yo[u]r wo[rshi]pps to Comiserate the poore estates & Condic[i]on of yo[u]r pettic[i]oner and graunt Ord[e]rs the addic[i]onall sum afforesaid be payd vnto yo[u]r pettic[i]oner and he shall euer pray &c.

31 March 1668 he is allowed xv s. quarterly p[er] Cur[ia].
