To the honn[oura]ble Comittee For the safty of the County of War[wick] and Cittye of Countrey [sic.] the humble peticon Dannell Bartlet [sic.].

Where as yo[u]r poore Peticoner beeing wounded in both his armes in the parliment serves vnder the Command of Captaine Thomas Hunte being allowed 4 shilling weeckley for his Maintenance hee beinge not able to doe aney thinge for to get a penney not soe much as to Make him selfe reddey ore vnreddy is like to bee vtterley loss and to bee fammished vnles yo[u]r worshipes helpe towards him in establishing soe maintenance weeckley to bee paide and yo[u]r pore peticoner shall bee euer bound to yo[u]r worshipes.
