To the Right W[o]r[shi]pfull the Justices of the peace for the County of Stafford.

The humble petic[i]on of Anne Nealor of the Burrough of Stafford in the said County.

<Sheweth> That your petic[i]oners husband beinge soldier listed vnder the Com[m]and of Collon[el] Danvers Collon[el] Generall of the County and Cuntry of Stafford was (in the pursuite of the Scotts from Worcester into Cheshire) there upon his Com[m]and slaine to the utt[e]r overthrowe and vndoeing of yo[u]r petic[i]oner and her familly and now by the deprivac[i]on of her hopes she is vtterly vndone

Except your W[o]r[shi]ps be pleased to allowe her the Contribution that the lawe hath in that case p[re]scribed for widowes and hath beene Customarily p[er]fermormed [sic.], w[hi]ch to be p[er]formed she humbly Intreats, and will as bound.

ever pray &c.

Yo[u]r petic[i]oners charge of Children beinge one in [?esse] another in [?posse] w[hi]ch w[i]thout favour wil be more then she is able to vndergoe for maintenance.
