The humble Petition of Anne Haywood of Chester

Humbly Sheweth

That your Petitioner had her husband slaine in the service of the Comon wealth; & that by much charge and trouble shee hath gott a Certificate from some of the Justices of the Peace of this County that assured the Lord Generall Cromwell of the trueth of the matter who hath made it his Request to yo[u]r worships to allowe your said Penc[i]oner a yearly Pay

May it therefore please your wor[shi]ps to consider of the pr[e]mises & allowe yo[u]r petitioner a weekly yearly stipend to bee paid according to Custome and soe much as may maintaine her selfe & four Children & yo[u]r petiti[one]r as in Duty bound will ever pray &c
