The humble Petition of Anne Bowers wydow

<Humbly> sheweth that yo[u]r petition[e]rs husband was slaine in the Parliaments service vnder Collonel Gerrard and was continued a Penc[i]on[e]r in Namptw[ic]h Hundred vntill a late meeting of the Justic[e]s att Knutsford further reveiwing of ye maimd souldiers where yo[u]r petitio[ne]r did not appeare in regard shee was ignorant thereof & soe lost the benefitt of her Penc[i]on being continued formerly to her

May it therefore please yo[u]r wor[shi]ps to take yo[u]r petitio[ne]rs Case into considerac[i]on & bee pleased to allow her, her Penc[i]on formerly granted, & give yo[u]r Order to the Treasurer of Namptw[i]ch Hundred for the paym[en]t thereof

And yo[u]r petition[e]r will ever pray &c
