To ye right worr[shi]p[fu]ll his Ma[jes]ties Justices of ye peace in ye County of Lanc[aste]r.

The humble petic[i]on of Anne Atkinson, Anne Holme and Margery Anderton of Preston widowes

Sheweth

That your poore petic[i]oners hath receiued his Ma[jes]ties gracious pay for theire husbands services donne in ye late warres And that they haue had ye yerrely sume of tenne shillings a peece for some yeares past And now since it is abated; w[hi]ch they hope your worrshipps will bee pleased consideringe theire poore disstressed condic[i]ons to allow ye said tenne shillings a peece yearely for ye tyme to come And yt your petic[i]oners may know ye tyme and place when and where they must receiue it

Humbly disireinge ye premisses abouesaid considered your wor[shi]ps will bee pleased to grant them your order accordinge as is aboue desired And your petic[i]oners as how euer in duty bound will euer pray &c
