To the Worshippful his Ma[jes]tyes Justices of peace att the Quarter sessions of peace held at Preston 9 Oct[ober] 1679.

The Humble Petic[i]on of Ann Sudell of Preston widdow and Relict of Richard Sudell dec[ease]d.

<Sheweth>

That your poor petic[i]on[e]rs late husband beinge one of the poor maimed Souldiers had an allowance of fifteene shillings by the yeare whilst hee lived: but hee being dead and haveing  left Your petic[i]on[e]r a poor aged and infirme woeman: shee humbly beggs your worshipps order to the Treasurer for the said poor souldiers for such part of the said fiftene shillings a yeare to bee continued and payd to her as your worshipps have beene pleasd in charity to allow oth[e]r poor widdows of the like necessitous condic[i]on. And your poor pet[itione]r shall ever pray &c
