The petition of Ann Prichard of St Albans, Hertfordshire, undated

To the Right Hon[our]able the Commisso[n]ers for the Reliefe of mamed souldiers & the widdows & orphants of souldiers deceased in his Ma[jes]tyes service

Humbly sheweth

That Ann Prichard the Relict of Cornet Will[ia]m Prichard who was slaine in his Ma[jes]tyes service at Cheriton down is in a very mean low & deplorable Condic[i]on unable to subsist without the Charity of others.

Wee therefore with her become humble suppliants to y[ou]r Hon[ou]rs that you would be please to Compassionate the said widd[ow], & to allow unto her some pension for subsistence, that the Relict of him perish not for want, who zealously spent the utmost drop of his bloud in the defence of his late Ma[jes]ty

& she & we shall humbly pray &c.
