To the right ho[noura]ble the deputy lieftenants and other the keepers of the peace their assistants assembled at Middlewich for the holding of the Quarter sessions for this Countye.

The petic[i]on of Ann Parker of Allostock Ellen Cotton of Northwich & Elizabeth Rogerson of Northwich within this Countye widowes.

Sheweth to yo[u]r hono[u]rs that yo[u]r petic[ioners’] husbands going over into Scotland in the Regiment of Collonell Danyell were there slayne leaveinge yo[u]r petic[ioners] & their children destitute of any releefe but onely their dayly labours who are likely to starue & perish for lacke of releefe vnles yo[u]r hono[u]rs favo[u]rs bee shewed to yo[u]r pet[itioners] therein.

May it therefore please yo[u]r hono[u]rs to order that yo[u]r pet[itioners] may haue such releefe as to yo[u]r hono[u]rs shall seeme meete & convenient And yo[u]r pet[itioners] as in duty bound shall pray for yo[u]r hono[u]rs hapines long to continue.
