To the wor[shipful] Edward Massie Esq Gouernour of the Cytty of Glossestir

The humble petic[i]on of Ann Morgan wydow the late wiefe of Richard Morgan deceased of late a tr

Humblly shewinge that whereas the s[ai]d decedent servid in this Citty first vnder Capten Husband sithence vnder Baskervyle and vntill his death vnder yo[u]r wor[ship] and haueinge brought a horse of his owne to the troope left the same at the New Inne and is now in the service vnder W[illia]m Cympe who had noe horse and now soe yt is that her husband haueinge receved noe pay from the 25th of May aboue 35 s. 15 s. thereof beinge from yo[u]r selfe and haueinge all he had taken from him by the sheeriff of Radnor shere

Therefore and for that yo[u]r petic[i]oner is the poor the mother of many Children and greate w[i]th child may yt please yow to give se her something to carry her to her Cuntry in liewe of her husbands service and of the s[ai]d horse and shee will eu[e]r pray &c

deliver to this Petitioner forty shilling for to carry her into her Country and this shal be yo[u]r discharge
