To the r[igh]t wor[shipfu]ll his Ma[jes]ties Justices of the peace & Coru[m] att theyre gen[er]all Quarter Sessions att Warminster for this Countie Afores[ai]d nowe assembled

Ann Jones of Trowbridg afores[ai]d wid[ow] Humbly sheweth that one George Earwine a souldier vnder Col[onel] Oakely in his Regim[en]t of Dragoons vnder the Comand of Capt[ain] Barrington whoe Coming to Trowbridg afores[ai]d on Whit Tuesday Last past on a march happened to be soe sicke and feeble that he could not followe his Coulers and is yett verry weake not able to traveile and hath noe meanes to subsist nor yet to paye for what he is already ingaged and therefore yo[u]r Wor[shi]pps poore pet[itione]r Ann Jones doth most humbly beseech yo[u]r good Wor[shi]pps her poore case considered and the p[re]sent weake Condic[i]on of the sayd George Earwine whoe hath been this sixe yeares and vpward in the parliam[en]t service that you will be pleased to Comiserate his pr[e]sent necessitie and to grant yo[u]r order for the satisfac[i]on of yo[u]r poore pet[itione]r: Ann Jones for what shee hath already spent vpon the sayd poor sicke souldier and for his maynten[a]nce in future tyme this yo[u]r poore petic[i]oner doth most humbly praye yo[u]r good wor[shi]pps to grant and she will dayly pray &c
