Sheweth

That yo[u]r petic[i]oners Husband Richard Barton late deceased receiued as a Maymed [illegible] Souldier the yearely Penc[i]on of Fifteene shillings and left yo[u]r Petic[i]oner who is Fowerscore and odd yeares of Age and blynd who Humbly Prayes the said Penc[i]on may bee Continued to her yo[u]r Petic[i]oner and she shall ever pray &c
