The humble petic[i]on of Agnes Futhergill of Eccleston magna
<Sheweth>
That yo[u]r petic[i]oners late husband Henrie Futhergill was Prest for the service in Ireland dyed there left yo[u]r petic[i]oner and two Fatherlesse children, That dureinge her health and strength shee hath maintained her selfe & children without trouble or charge to the Towne or Parish, but age beinge vpon her and almost blinde and lame, and in poore Estate, yo[u]r Wor[shi]pps att yo[u]r last sessions holden att Woodplumpton were in mercie pleased to grant yo[u]r Order to the Churchwardens and overseers to make provision for her, That Christopher Hodgkinson and Nicholas Rabie Churchwarden and overseere hauinge gotter [sic.] yo[u]r said order doe deteine the same and refuse to grant her anie releefe saue onely three shillings A Quarter,
Her humble request is that her allowance may bee augmented and the said order ratified And shee shall pray &c
vi d. a weeke till they shew cause or bee bound.
