To the Hono[ura]ble the Committee of Safety for the Countie of Warwick and of the Citty & Countie of Coventry.

The Humble Petition of Abraham Pole

<Sheweth>

That yo[u]r Peticoner beinge in the parliament service vnder the Commaund of Captaine Mathew Bridges for almost two yeares, and beinge on his dutie fireinge his Musquett the barrell broke and stroke off the thumbe of yo[u]r petic[i]oners left hand, who beinge by trade a combe maker is altogether disabled to doe any thinge thereat; & beinge lately disbanded without yo[u]r comisserac[i]on likely to bee vndone

May it please this Hono[ura]ble Committee to allowe yo[u]r Petic[i]oner what in yo[u]r wisdomes shall bee thought fitt for his present supporte, and towards his future maintenance, and hee shall as in duty bound daylie pray &c.
