And yo[u]r poore pet[itione]r exceedingly impoverished her selfe in the vse of means in order to the healing of the s[ai]d wounds, where of hee dyed, & Left her with Five small Children, and but her hard shift to maintaine them. And it hath pleased the almighty to add unto your petic[i]on[er]s misery in depriveing her of her Eyesight by reason whereof, and of her great age shee is become a burthen to her children, And for her future reliefe & their ease, shee hath bin advized by severall gent[lemen] of quality thus humbly to address her selfe vnto yo[u]r wor[shi]pps to the end some p[ro]vision may bee made for her subsistence the litle time she is like to Continue
The pr[e]misses Considered, May it please yo[u]r Wor[shi]pps to order yo[u]r poore petic[i]on[e]r such a Penc[i]on or quarterly allowance (to pr[e]vent the misery shee is like to grieue groan & p[er]ish vnder) as to yo[u]r graue considerac[i]on shall seeme meet.
And shee as in duty bound shall ever pray &c.
