Fol. 30: Upon the petition of William Turner of Hampton Wick in the county of Middlesex and upon a certificate from Captain Withers (under whom Turner served as a trooper), it appeared to the court that Turner had been in parliament’s service for seven years. Last Midsummer he was forced to leave the service ‘by reason of his great, and many wounds he hath rec[eived] in the sayd service’. Awarded 40 s. per annum.
