fol. 157v: William Reynolds of Greenwich, gardener, was in Parliament’s service under the command of Captain Man and around 1 June 1645 received ‘a greivous cutt’ upon his left hand, whereby he lost the use of the same. It was therefore ordered that he be given a gratuity of 20 s. and a yearly pension of 40 s.
