Described as a poor old lame soldier. Given 5 s. gratuity by the county treasurer. The churchwardens and overseers of South Otterington had formerly been ordered to pay 6 d. per week to Reman for the relief of himself, his wife and children but the court being satisfied of the poverty and disability of body of Reman, they ordered this 6 d. to be increased to 12 d. per week.
