The sessions that last met at Thirsk ordered the churchwardens of South Otterington to pay 12 d. per week to William Reman, but it appeared to the court that Reman was not so necessitous as in his petition he formerly set forth, and since that time he hath received several considerable advantages. His 12 d. per week was thus reduced to 6 d. per week, unless he show cause to the contrary.
