‘Whereas William Pulman of Alphington hath a pencion of twenty shillings per annum allowed him as a maymed souldier but being now growne aged & very infirme by reason of his wounds received in the service of our late Soueraigne Lord Kinge Charles the first It is thought fitt & ordered that the said William Pulman shall henceforth have 20 s. per annum added to his said former pencion in all Forty shillings per annum to be paid by the Treasurer for the maymed souldiers of this County by quarterly payments till further order.’
