fol. 26v: William Levett of Penshurst had been a soldier in Parliament’s service. He had lost the use of one eye through smallpox and the other eye was much decayed thereby, so that he was not able to work for the maintenance of himself, his wife and four children. It was ordered that he receive the yearly pension of 40 s.
