"the sayd Hicks hath bene a Souldier in Major Halsyes Troope ever since the beginning of the Warres in theise partes and hath receaved divers woundes by the enemy, Itt is therefore ordered that Mr Anthony the Deputy Treasurer doe pay forty shillings yerely unto the sayd William Hicks by Quarterly payments and to be payd Ten shillings for this Quarter."
