'Forasmuch as it is informed that William Harding of Stafford, tailor, has disbursed for Thomas Wright, his son-in-law, who was lately slain in the service of the King and Parliament, and for his late wife, several sums of money. Now forasmuch as there are moneys owing to the said Thomas Wright in his lifetime, and his goods are in the hands of several persons, it is therefore ordered that the said William Harding shall have power to seize upon and take into his possession all moneys, goods, cattle and chattels in whose hands custody or possession whatsoever the same be or shall become due and payable. And all persons are hereby required upon notice of this order to deliver the goods in their possession, and to pay the moneys that are owing to the said Thomas Wright, unless good cause can be immediately upon notice hereof shown to the Committee to the contrary.'
