‘Whereas Samuell Wright a Lame & maimed souldier att ye Sessions of ye publique peace here holden ye seventh day of October 1651 was allowed a yearely Pension of fourty shillings to be paid unto him by ye Treasurers for ye maimed souldiers who Lately dyed leaueing a wife & three small Children to maintaine in great want & pov[er]ty who peticoned this Court for some releife whereof this Court takeing consideracon and com[m]iserateing her poore estate doe order & allow her twenty shillings to be paid unto her by ye Treasurers of ye upp[er] Bench & Marshalsey equally.’
