f. 107r: On the petition of the inhabitants of Stortford now read in court, it is thought meet and ordered that the Treasurers for Hospitals and Maimed Soldiers of this county shall out of hand pay to the late wife of William Luckys, deceased, an old soldier and pensioner of this county, the sum of 10 s. for the quarter ended last 25 March to help her in her now great necessity, although the said William Luckys departed this life about midnight of the day before.
