[f.216r] ‘The Treasurer for the maymed Souldiers of this County is hereby ordered to pay vnto the Widdow relict of Robert Elliot alias Genings late of Ottery St Mary who received the yearly pencion of twenty shillings per annum as a maymed Souldier the Summe of Fiue Shillings which would haue beene due to her husband at Christmas last.’
