‘The Treasurer for the maymed souldiers of this County is hereby ordered to pay vnto Walter Williams of Marytavy a souldier maymed in the said service of our late Soueraigne Lord Kinge Charles the first the summe of Twenty shillings per annum by quarterly payments till further order for his more comfortable subsistance and alsoe five shillings in hand and the officers of the said parish are to take care for his further releife.’
