"Whereas it appeareth … yt Walter King of Plymouth was in the tyme of the late warr in the year 1643 taken & dangerously wounded by the enemy who hath ever since lived in great misery & not able to follow his calling whereby to releive himselfe his wife & children. It is therefore ordered that the Treasurer for maymed souldiers doe from henceforth pay unto the said Walter King £2 10 s. yearely whereof he is to have 12 s. 6 d. in hand."
