[f.13r] ‘The Treasurer for the maymed Souldiers of this County is hereby ordered to pay vnto Walter Huxham of Kingsbridge a Souldier maymed in the service of our late soueraigne Lord King Charles the first the Summe of forty Shillings per annum for his more comfortable Subsistance by quarterly payments till further order and fiue Shillings in hand And the Justices of the peace of that division are desired to take course that the parishioners of Kingsbridge aforesaid doe giue the said Walter Huxham such competent reliefe as if the said pencion had not beene granted.’
