fol. 44: The court was satisfied that Veronica Plott, the wife of Richard Plott, deceased, who had faithfully served Charles I in the Civil Wars and been a great sufferer in his estate, leaving Veronica in great want, was a person fit to be relieved. She had previously received a gratuity of £4 and now, upon her petition for further relief, she was awarded another gratuity of £4 out of the surplusage of the money collected for the maimed soldiers in the hundreds of Osulstone, Edmonton and Gore.
