Hoult was a lamed soldier being tended at Robert Oldershaw’s house in Nottingham. The payment was made for his lodging, washing and food. Robert Oldershaw and his wife stated that Hoult was in a poor state of health, and had been lodged with them since Michaelmas last. They stated that they were old and also in poor health, and requested money to purchase coal and other necessaries to relieve Hoult’s distress. Warrant signed by Gervase Pigott and Gervase Lomax. Receipt endorsed by Tymothy Hoult’s mark.
