‘Thomasine Macye of Ottery widow having a longe time received a yearly pencion for that her husband was slaine in the late kings service It being contrary to the Article to allowe yearly pencions to widdowes, of any maymed souldiers The Treasurer for the maymed souldiers is therefore hereby ordered from henceforth to forbeare the payment thereof, to pay her twenty shillings at this Sessions and shee to trouble this Courte noe more.’
