Notes

Thomas Walker of Warden has lately petitioned that he was a soldier for Charles I and about twelve years previously was allowed a pension. He, being then able to work, did not pay the same, and he has not received any. Now he is poor and indigent and unable to work, so the treasurers are required to pay him 4 nobles (1 noble = 6 s. 8 d.) on sight of this order.
