[f.189r] ‘Vpon the humble petition of Thomas Valter of Southmolton in this County weauer a Souldier maimed in his late Majesties Seruice This Court doth thinke fitt and order that the Treasurer for the maimed Souldiers of this County doe henceforth pay vnto the said Thomas Valter a pencion of Thirty shillings per annum by quarterly payments vntill further order.’
