"For that it appeareth … that Thomas Serle of Hemiocke a maimed souldier haveing 40 s. yearly formerly granted him for his pencion, he being very poore & haveing a great charge of children is fallen into great poverty and want and cannot subsist by soe small a pencion: It is therefore ordered that the Treasurer … shall from henceforth pay … thirty shillings yearly more as an addicion to his said former pencion."
