Upon a letter subscribed by Sir John Goodrick and Sir Thomas Gore, knts and bts, and several other persons of quality, attesting to the faithful service of Thom[a]s Ryeroste of Eastby to his late majesty and his majesty that now is and the many wounds that he had received, it was ordered that he be admitted a pensioner at the next General Sessions at Pontefract and in the meantime, the Treasurer for Maimed Soldiers pay him a gratuity of 40 s.
