Notes

Elizabeth Robinson, the relict of George Robinson of Hutton Bonvile who was slain in parliament’s service, had £4 yearly as a pension towards the relief of herself and her children. However, she was lately dead and one of her children - John - was only ten years' old. His only livelihood was that which he received from Thomas Robinson, his elder brother, who was not able to maintain him. It was therefore ordered that the treasurer for lame soldiers pay unto Thomas Robinson 20 s. of the said pension which was in arrears to Elizabeth before her death, as well as 20 s. quarterly for one whole year next coming in order to bind his younger brother apprentice.
