Notes

At beginning of wars he lived in Warrington. It being under the enemy's control he fled into Cheshire. He has served under Col. Dreake for three years and has lost the use of one of his hands. Ordered that he be received as a maimed solider and a pension in the next available place as soon as some treasurers are chosen and money raised for that purpose; and allowed pension as JPs think fit.
