On the humble petition of Thomas Ratliefe of Suffolk, who served King Charles the First and King Charles the Second of blessed memory as a soldier in a man-of-war, and being now about sixty years of age and having lost both his eyes, and no ways capable of a livelihood, this court is pleased to order 10 s. to be paid him this sessions by the treasurer for maimed soldiers, and also a pension of 20 s. a year henceforth.
