[f.80r] ‘Vpon the humble petition of Thomas Preist of Briddistowe in this county a Souldier maimed in the service of his late majestie King Charles the 1st this Court doth order that the Treasurer for the maimed Souldiers of this county doe henceforth pay vnto the said Thomas Priest a pencion of Thirty Shillings per annum by quarterly payments and five shillings in hand.’
