‘Vpon recomendacion by the right honourable the Earle of Bath by his Majesties speciall direction vnto this Courte of Captine Thomas Lindsey who is growne very infirme by reason of severall wounds which hee received in the service of our late Soueraigne Lord Kinge Charles the first in the late vnhappy wars in which hee served as a Captine Leivetennant to Colonell Thomas Moncke It is ordered that the said Mr Lindsey shall receive a pention of Twenty pounds per annum by quarterly payments till further order which the Treasurer for the maymed souldiers of this County is ordered to pay accordingly.’
