Fol. 31: Upon reading a certificate of the Churchwardens of the parish of Amersham in Buckinghamshire that Thomas Katie went a voluntary soldier under Captain Lane in Colonel Hampden’s regiment. At that time he had resided with his wife and children in the parish of Amersham. He was ‘since dead’, leaving his wife and children ‘ready to p[er]ish for want of releife. It was therefore ordered that the said Anne…[order stops and the whole paragraph is crossed out]. Not clear if Thomas Katie died in service.
