f. 61r: The matter of Thomas Johnson, a maimed soldier, is referred by the Bench for consideration by Sir John Wittewrong and Mr Smyth, two of the county's justices of the peace, who are ordered and desired to award him such relief as they shall think fit, to be paid to him by such high constables on that side of the county as they shall nominate, because at present there is no Treasurer for Hospitals etc. on that side of the county.
